This funny sequel stars Steve Martin as Inspector Clouseau to solve another case to capture the person who stole the pink panther diamond. Three of the most expensive artifacts have been stolen from museums in Britain, Italy and Japan, and the only clue is a card left by the famous thief, The Tornado. The Government of France plans to make a Dream Team of detectives to solve the case. Of course, with some hesitation, They end up giving the job to the inspector. At this time, Clouseau is working as a parking officer. They let him be part of the case. The rest is pure insanity when he gets himself into tons of trouble. This film is much funnier than the first one. I laughed more than I have laughed for the first movie in 2006. To this day, I still have a sour taste in my mouth from this franchise because of the horrible experience of sitting through the first one. The movies are just stupid, but the American film industry is going down the toilet anyway, so it's best to cherish stupidity for what it does: make you laugh. 2 and a half out of 4 stars.
