The award ceremony went just as planned for the most part. The only shockers of the night for me were the Best Actor award, which I thought would go to Mickey Rourke. A pleasant surprise for Sean Penn. The other surprise was Best Actress. I was sure it would go to Kate Winslet. I was just as shocked as Meryl Streep was when she won the well-deserved award! Looking forward to Oscar season. It will be interesting this year.
