Angels and Demons

Photobucket
MPAA Rating: PG-13 for sequences of violence, disturbing images and thematic material.
The film starts with the death of the Pope in the Vatican. It then switches off to a research facility in Geneva where a research team is experimenting with the creation of antimatter. In this scene, you can see Vittoria Vetra, a scientist in the research team. In the aftermath of the experiment, Vetra's antimatter is stolen by an unknown person, and then it switches off to Harvard University. Here a Papacy Agent contacts Langdon to come to Rome, to help him find the person responsible for sending death threats to the Vatican, and for kidnapping the four leading Cardinals for the position of Pope. This film, which was adapted from a novel, was really interestingly formulated and used many meaningful clues to figure out who the murderer was. Though it dragged on in the beginning, when the story was forming, it paid off in the end. A huge twist in the plot will leave your jaw to drop to the floor. I thought it was one of the better movies so far this year. The sequences of intense special effects made it even more enjoyable! 3 out of 4 stars.
